Accessibility Statement
Last updated: May 2026
Suirside Mediation is committed to making both this website and my mediation services accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.
The website
This website has been designed with accessibility in mind. It aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA where reasonably achievable. Specific features include:
- Clear, readable text with good contrast against the background
- Logical heading structure for screen reader navigation
- Keyboard navigation supported throughout
- Responsive design that works on phones, tablets and desktops
- Plain English, avoiding unnecessary jargon
Mediation sessions
I am happy to make reasonable adjustments to mediation sessions so they work for you. Please let me know in advance if any of the following would help:
- A wheelchair-accessible venue
- Larger print versions of any documents
- Extra breaks during sessions
- Online sessions if travel is difficult
- Hearing loop or sign language interpreter, which I can arrange in advance
- A support person to attend with you
- Any other adjustment that would make the process work better for you
Plain language
Mediation involves making important decisions. I avoid legal jargon as much as possible and will always explain anything that is unclear. If you would prefer information presented in a different format, just ask.
